This is a step back in time to when pirate radio ruled, before the internet and social media…
My friends and I never had the radio off, whether it was Kool FM 94.5 - Weekend Rush 92.3 or Pulse FM 90.6 it was always on and it was always hardcore/jungle and there was absolutely nothing like it.
I don’t think I would of ever started to collect records or become a Dj if i wasn’t so deeply inspired and completely taken by these drums. This mix covers seminal tracks from 92-94 that are still personal to me and still sound fresh over 20 years later. I hope this mix makes the hairs stand up on the back of your neck and puts a big smile on your face.
